Description

The MICRO rug by Viktorija Kuliavaitė is a captivating abstract creation, inspired by the intricate beauty found in microscopic images of plant life. This unique piece draws directly from the delicate structures of leaves, reimagining them on a larger-than-life scale. Crafted with soft, fluffy loops and organic lines, the rug mimics the natural patterns seen under the microscope, bringing a sense of nature’s hidden complexity into your home.
Rendered in rich, vibrant shades of green, the “Micro” rug evokes the depth and variety of the natural world. Its flowing, irregular shapes mirror the textures and forms of magnified plant cells, creating an abstract design that feels both dynamic and serene. The softness of the yarns adds to its tactile appeal, making it as comfortable as it is visually stunning.
The MICRO rug not only serves as a striking main point but also offers a connection to nature’s unseen beauty. Handcrafted in Lithuania by the designer herself, this limited-edition piece makes it a perfect blend of scientific inspiration and artistic craftsmanship.

Minimal shedding may occur initially, but it will reduce over time. Please note, that the rug may slip on smooth surfaces such as tile, a rug pad is recommended for stability.

Viktorija Kuliavaitė also offers the option to commission a custom piece inspired by a specific location of your choice. Please contact us to discuss the details on how to proceed.
