This vase is inspired by the Greco-Roman period, having a timeless appearance and finished with a contemporary textured matte or shiny glaze. The handmade process gives it a subtle and intimate uneven touch. Hallmarked with a discreet P 213A embossed logo.
“Maria Vessel” is available in three variations: Brick / Midnight Blue / Oat
Designed by Project 213A in 2020
Project 213A is a European design house founded in 2020 as an idea by four friends linked by a common design philosophy. This Project became reality with the launch in September 2021.
The brand’s goal is to create modern as well as unique furniture and home accessories that are timeless with a commitment to work towards a more sustainable future.
The name of the brand “Project 213A” refers to a London based address where all four founders each have lived in - at different times throughout their studies. The building is featured prominently within the logo where their home stood, above a launderette.
Each product is responsibly manufactured in selected Portuguese factories and family run workshops to provide a considerate way of production while minimising wasteful practices.
New Solid is a vision to feel and live with art. It is the first show of Casa Nueva, a livable gallery space and apartment hotel initiated by designers River Valadez and Sebastián Arroyo Hoebens, built on the idea that art can be inhabited.
We invite visitors to participate in the dialogue among transdisciplinary works from the contemporary art and design scene. It concerns functional art designed and conceived by artists from two magnificent cities, Mexico City and New York, in a correlation founded in geometry, technology, and crafts.
The artworks, bliss for the contemplative eye and a joy to use, will invite the beholder to examine the floating and multidimensional character of concepts such as mass, volume, or weight.
The location, equipped as a functional living space, can be found in the historical center of Mexico City. The event will be part of the Design Week Mexico festivities in partnership with Adorno, acting as the international design and logistics platform, as well as Ángulo Cero, an Art Gallery with astonishing designs located in Mexico City, and with the support of Yunuen Sariego, promoter and curator of contemporary art based in Mexico City.
