    Description

    Maedeup by WKND Lab is a multi-functional furniture design and wall decoration that highlights the Korean traditional knot-making method interpreted into the contemporary design piece. This experimental piece was made collaborating with a seamstress who worked on beddings for more than 30 years, following the traditional way of making the knots created with sustainable, animal cruelty-free material.

    This human-sized art is tied in a dragonfly Knot alongside two more round knots. The characteristic of the Korean Knot is it looks the same back and forth. This multi-purpose furniture is designed to “decorate” any space in a flexible manner.
