Description

Experience a moment of profound stillness with “Luster of Equanimity,” a tactile representation of transition and growth crafted by Yasmin Mora. When paused, it offers a mesmerizing, almost meditative state, symbolizing the genesis of our next journey. Expertly handcrafted in Mexico City by renowned textile artist Yasmin Mora, each piece is a tribute to age-old craftsmanship. The vibrant-hued wool, sourced from Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico, upholds the ancient Zapotec dyeing techniques. It is colored using a medley of local plants and insects such as cochineal, indigo, and madder root, resulting in a 100% naturally dyed fabric. This masterpiece is ethically crafted from 100% Wool from Oaxaca and is complemented with a natural rustic denim backing. To maintain its lustrous quality, gently vacuum it on a weekly basis, use a lint roller if needed, and understand that minor shedding is a natural characteristic of pure wool.

These textile pieces can be placed in any space to accent any floor, wall, seat or table depending on size and design.
