    Description

    Made from high gloss stainless steel, the Ignic candleholder by Studio My Comét is made to hold block candles with a diameter up to 5cm or tea candles. It is made in a flat pack design and is easily assembled. Melted candle wax residues can be cleaned off by pouring boiling water on it to melt away the residues (this makes the steel really hot, so be careful). Polish it using a micro fiber cloth with water and a small amount of dish soap, rinse with water, and polish again with a dry cloth.
    Please note that you might need to put in some strength the first few times pushing down the plate, but that will ease up eventually, and it should have a tight fit. Please be careful with the sharp edges, and keep away from small children.

She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in arts and design, spatial design, from the Royal Danish Academy, where her education bridged architecture, design, and art. This interdisciplinary foundation shaped her conceptual approach, which continues to define her independent design practice. Specializing in spatial and collectible design, My blends art and functionality to create objects and environments that inspire curiosity and invite interaction. Her work spans furniture, objects, spaces, and illustration, often combining materials and techniques to produce engaging and meaningful experiences. In her creative process, My integrates material exploration, sustainable practices, conceptual narratives, and innovative aesthetics to craft designs that are thoughtful and enduring.
