Journey to the Moon- In this piece, I sought to capture the serene yet powerful interaction between the moon and the
snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. The white stones symbolize the majestic snow-covered mountains, with their purity and strength. The use of spherical and linear forms—though seemingly direct—serves to emphasize the close relationship between the moon and the towering mountains, bridging the natural and the celestial.
This lamp symbolizes the full moon rising above snow-capped peaks. Positioned vertically, it captures the view from below, where the moon hovers like a serene guardian over the landscape. The brass pipe adds a dynamic accent, breaking the gray tones and energizing the composition. Minimal “L” shaped lines in the background enhance the modern architectural feel, creating a harmonious blend of natural and structured elements, where ancient landscapes meet contemporary design.
The blend of natural and structural elements creates a timeless elegance. The alabaster stones, preserved in their natural form, highlight their organic beauty and ground the piece in nature. In contrast, the brass and blue steel introduce modern, structured elements, reflecting the harmony between nature and human craftsmanship.
