Lameice Abu Aker, born in Jerusalem, is a distinguished artist and designer with a profound commitment to preserving Palestinian heritage through her studio, "Ornamental by Lameice." Holding a degree in Interior Architecture and a Masters in Furniture Design from Politecnico di Milano University, Lameice founded her studio in 2021, dedicating it to collaborative projects with Palestinian artisans across various materials and mediums. Her primary focus lies in the intricate art of glassworks, notably crafted in Jaba, a small village in the Palestinian territories, in collaboration with the Twam family—a legacy of glassblowers passing their craft through generations. Since its inception, Lameice's studio has showcased its distinctive pieces globally, from Paris and Dubai to London, Singapore, the Dominican Republic, and Jerusalem.
