Eglė Šimkus is a visual artist and sculptor whose creativity stems from her multicultural roots. Originally from Lithuania, she was born in 1990 to a Russian mother and a Lithuanian father, a fusion that deeply influenced her artistic perception. Her childhood in Lithuania until 1999, the year she settled in France, was marked by cultural richness and the experience of otherness.
