This functional art piece, Granada by Courtney Kinnare, was exclusively created for the 2025 edition of Collectible Brussels, her first European collectible design fair debut. Deep plum and mulled wine layers uniquely blend with warm browns and violet-gray textures, creating a one-of-a-kind piece reminiscent of something warm and sweet in the middle of the long winter months.
These pieces build a color story through multiple layers of translucent tinted resin over a mirrored glass base. Throughout the day, as the light changes, their vibrant hues shift in color and tone – kaleidoscopic portals offering new perspectives each time you view them. This work is considered Courtney’s signature series, in which she has been mastering the techniques for the past 2 years.
