Description

OBJECTS OF AFFECTION by PIA GLASSWORKS is a collection of seven decorative pieces crafted from the mystical realms of magic, dreams, and an imagined universe that can only be reached by passing through the forest. These objects evoke a sense of enchantment, where each piece symbolizes the passage between worlds—both physical and emotional. Drawing inspiration from the mysterious, the collection invites the viewer to engage with the unseen and the unknown, transforming everyday decor into talismans that connect with deeper layers of imagination and wonder.

About PIA GLASSWORKS Visit Showroom →

Experimental Argentine artist based in Barcelona, born in 1992 and part of the queer community. My work focuses on flameworking with blown glass, exploring a non-existent dreamlike world based on dreams and the creation of other realities. Through innovative techniques and a multidisciplinary approach, I aim to challenge conventions and offer a profound reflection on identity and diversity. My pieces not only highlight the fragility of the material but also evoke a sense of resilience and connection to the multiple realities that coexist within our experience.
