Description

Each dish is a unique piece by Matan Fadida, individually carved and sand cast in brass. They are perfect for holding small items such as jewellery or as a tableware to hold ingredients such as salt. The sand casting process preserves the authenticity of the design, showcasing the distinctive cuts and lines created during crafting. Once cast, each dish is polished to achieve a refined finish.

Due to the one of one design, each dish will be chosen at random.

About Matan Fadida Visit Showroom →

Matan Fadida is a multidisciplinary designer based in London. Originally from New Zealand, Matan began his creative journey by building his own world through product and furniture design. Since relocating to London in 2022, he has continued to refine his practice, working with a diverse range of materials to create a cohesive yet versatile collection. One of the designer's most popular pieces, the Puffer Cushion, embodies soft curves and a plushness, unique to its design. In contrast, his metalwork is rigid and cool to the touch, demonstrating Matan’s range and versatility while maintaining coherence in his honest use of materials. His approach allows the materials to perform as intended, celebrating their natural qualities with simplicity. As a designer, Matan is most interested in continual evolution while staying true to the lineage of work he is laying down. "My creative journey is my medium," he reflects. His ambition was further recognised with his inclusion in Wallpaper* Class of 24: Future Icons, where he exhibited Primal Chair, during Milan Design Week 2024.
