Description

The Benone Table by Costantini Design features two cast bronze bases that are only partially polished in order to highlight the imperfections that show evidence of the burnt earth that once surrounded it during the casting process. Its top, by contrast, is finished smooth. It is shown here with an oval top with a knife edge and a stone top, but it can be made in any shape or size, and any species of wood, color or stone.

This is a new piece, made to order, and can be made in any size, any material, and any finish.

About William C Stuart William C Stuart (b. 1975, Bronx, NY) is an American artist currently working between New York and Buenos Aires. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Colgate University with Honors in Studio Art and was the recipient of the John F Fitchen III Art Prize in 1998. Worked independently in Paris in 1995 and 1998. In 2002, he founded Costantini Design. His works span sculpture, furniture, video, painting, photography, writing, and barbecue, among others.
