‘Once upon a time, there was the usual kitchen full of square and static furniture, a bit boring to tell the truth; then I created Ballerina, and everything changed: no more furniture boxes but circular steel islands on wheels, dressed with curtain skirts that you can change according to the rhythm of your day. Ballerina the fun and functional idea that turns your kitchen into a dance floor and gives you lightness and joie de vivre.’ – Designer Federica Zama
Ballerina is a project that revolutionizes the idea of cooking. The first element of the collection is a 316 stainless steel island on wheels consisting of a steel top, tubular legs, and triangular shelves adjustable in height. The island revolves around a cylindrical sink that is wholly hand-welded.
A hidden runner under the top allows a curtain made of recycled fabrics to slide. The curtain can be easily changed according to one’s taste and the occasion. It is a highly ductile element, easy to assemble and move, which adapts to indoor and outdoor environments, embellishing them.
This island can be customized in size, and you can also ask for a different pattern in the curtain.
This island comes without the sink, with the sink, or with the sink and induction hob. Price on request.
