Ceren is a lighting designer and ceramic artist based in Istanbul. A graduate of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Ceramic and Glass Design, she began her career training with a renowned sculptor and later led the design department of a glass manufacturing company. There, she specialized in sculptural lighting installations, exploring innovative techniques and materials like glass, metal, and wood.
Her passion for merging glass and clay led to the founding of "Maiizen", where she crafts timeless designs inspired by nature and daily life. Combining traditional glass-blowing techniques with contemporary forms, Ceren creates luminaires, lighting sculptures, and sculptural objects.
Her latest works include the "Abyss" and "Asea" collections.
