Vases for Your Valentine that Speak to the Heart
In anticipation of Valentine’s Day (with an estimated 250 million stems sold globally), and in celebration of all the ways we love and all the ways we express it, ADORNO’s selection collection of vases speaks to the beautiful diversity of human connection and romance. Like the relationships we cherish, each piece has its own personality – from quiet glass vessels that let light do the talking, to bold ceramic forms that command attention, to playful sculptural pieces that spark joy with every glance.
This selection of vases proves that modern romance has moved beyond safe choices. From seductively minimal smoky glass that practically disappears into air, to statement ceramics that command a room – these pieces understand that today’s love stories come in all forms. Some relationships gravitate toward clean lines and quiet details, others live for dramatic, maximalist shapes and rich textures that start conversations. It’s about finding that piece that captures your unique chemistry and turns the classic Valentine’s gesture into something personally representative. Because while flowers fade, the right vase becomes part of your shared story, living in your space long after the last petal falls.

Kochyli – Stoneware Vases by twig & beetle
This brutalist piece by twig & beetle, was thrown on the wheel with a groggy iron packed clay body. Wet trimmed on the wheel, the spikes were then hand formed and attached. The vessel was finished with an oxide and gold shino to create the ultimate metallic effect.
Katchka Vase I – Sand & Resin Vases by Studio Bovti
The Katchka Vase by Studio Bovti invites viewers to engage in a personal exploration of form and meaning. Designed to evoke a sense of playful ambiguity, the vase sparks diverse interpretations—some may see the whimsical silhouette of a little duck, while others are reminded of something childlike and nostalgic. The true magic of the Katchka Vase lies in its ability to interact harmoniously with the floral arrangements it holds. The composition of flowers finds freedom within the vase’s form, creating a dynamic interplay between nature and design. Together, the flowers and vase form a cohesive whole, each element complementing the other to create a radiant, unified expression.
Underneath Me – 3D Printed Red Vase by Federica Zama
The vase ‘ Underneath Me ‘ by Federica Zama is is inspired in its decoration by the Art Noveau ceramics on display in the Faenza Ceramics Museum MIC and in the shape of the female body.
It recalls a woman’s body: sinuous, draped, and perfumed. The robe does not envelop it completely; it leaves parts covered with tiny flowers uncovered. The tenderness is evoked by the decoration of flowers. It is my way of paying homage to my city’s new femininity and artistic tradition, reinterpreting it with the most innovative materials and techniques.
Ossa – Ceramic Sculptural Vase by ccontinua+mamt
Ossa is a Collection of Sculptural Vases entirely crafted and decorated by hand. The ceramic pieces have been modeled together by Chiara and Francesco (ccontinua+mamt) simultaneously sculpting them.
Expanding the storytelling on a volumetric dimension, this hand building technique allows to achieve an enduring sense of malleability, and the resulting forms appear to be in a constant state of flux, resembling “unfinished” animal creatures.
The porcelain’s surface treatment evokes the texture of bone, while the glossy finish accentuates their volumes.
Rip No. 4 – Opal White Glass Blown Vase by Studio Ella EInhell
This object is made with Ella Einhell’s self developed BOcNEGLASS. A zero waste glass made from combining glass grinding sludge and discarded animal bones. The animal bones are sourced from small bio farmers with ethical husbandry to support them in the fight against the mass slaughter industry.
Each object is shaped by blowing the boneglass into a mold made from animal bones, such as pigs shoulder blades or the jaws of wild bores. This way, the vases are formed and unwanted bones are given a new life. Like every animal and bone, each object is unique and can not be repeated. Shades range from white, to brown, to blue and green. Enhell’s work aims to support local craftmenship and takle problems such as resource waste and industrial waste.
105 Ltr Forms – Wine Red Handmade Glass Object by Vogel Studio
The 105 Ltr Forms by Vogel Studio are a testament to sustainable craftsmanship and creative innovation. These pieces are thoughtfully created using leftover materials from the 105 Ltr production, ensuring minimal waste while breathing new life into residual glass. Each edition is inherently limited, determined by the quantity of available leftover materials.
In the glass production process, color cones are used to achieve custom hues, often leaving behind small, unclassifiable remnants. Vogel Studio transforms these mixed colors into the 105 Ltr Forms, resulting in pieces with uniquely vibrant and unpredictable color intensities. The distinctive shape and rich color variations make every object truly one of a kind.

In the process of creating hand-shaped vessels, Carl Auböck V began designing the largest and most deconstructed vase yet produced by AUBÖCK. This large, full-brass sculpture creates striking and brilliant light refractions, achieved through the hand-shrinking of its panels.
The brass panels are hand-beaten and rolled using traditional techniques and Biedermeier-era tools from the period when the family workshop was founded.
In sunlight, the vessel transforms into a “future moon,” offering a glimpse into the future of the Werkstätte Carl Auböck.

“Inner side” is a series of vases, made together with coppersmith Victor Caldarar and Victor Dulgheru, during an incubator powered by co/rizom. The objects are handmade in the traditional technique of hammered copper and they each have an inner and an outer layer of material. The walls of each object are doubled, having a gap of air in between. Once the volume is filled with water, the perception of the user is deformed by the fact that the water does not touch the outer layer, as well as by the center of weight placed elsewhere than expected.

A dull and boring near-futuristic world, Midtopia lies between utopia and dystopia, adjacent to Michel Foucault’s concept of Heterotopia.
