3daysofdesign is Denmark’s annual design event, attracting architects, designers, journalists, bloggers, buyers and design enthusiasts from around the world to Copenhagen. An exclusive event that’s open to the public, it’s the ideal opportunity to experience new, inspiring concepts in lifestyle, lighting, furniture and interior design from some of the major players behind the Danish design scene. During the event, participants are invited to a range of showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks, including previews of new product launches and upcoming trends on the horizon. We have curated the 10 must-see locations during 3daysofdesign and when to be there, so you can be sure not to miss anything!
 


 

DAWN x Nomad Workspace

Come visit danishdesign MAKERS, meet ADORNO member Rasmus Warberg and the other designers behind this years exhibition “a tribute to everyday life”. Have a cold drink, a light snack and a chat about design.

Home of a Collector – &traditions new showroom

Join the opening of the new &tradition residence ‘Home of a Collector’ and be inspired by three different exhibitions in &tradition’s gallery. Enjoy food and wine in the café.

Their previous &tradition showroom, The Village, was situated in a modern warehouse on Paper Island near the waterfront. With their move to new premises in the heart of Copenhagen, it’s the start of a new chapter. &tradition Residence “Home of a Collector”. They have created an environment much like a home, because they wanted you to experience their brand universe in real life, in a real setting. Sit in their chairs, have a chat on their sofas, turn on their lamps. Enjoy the flowers in their vases, how their mirrors enhance a space and the soft rugs beneath your feet.

 


 

Frama Studio Apartment

Visit the Frama Studio Apartment during 3daysofdesign when the residential home of Niels Strøyer Christophersen, Founder of FRAMA, will be open for a public view for the second time since it’s establishment in 2012. Ahead of 3daysofdesign the space has been curated in a new, intriguing way.

Frama embodies a straightforward approach to design and aesthetic. They work with solid and natural materials, with a simplistic design language. Frama Studio Store is located in the former St. Pauls Apotek, which traces back to the 1800’s. Here you can study their St. Pauls Apothecary Collection, Permanent Collection and Studio Collection, including their award-winning kitchen design.

Form/Design Center – a hub for inspiration and knowledge in design and architecture – presents two exhibitions at The Swedish Embassy in Copenhagen in collaboration with Southern Sweden Creatives and SPOK. Meet 9 designers in the exhibition What’s Your DNA? curated by Kajsa Willner. The exhibition was shown at Dutch Design Week in October, organized by Southern Sweden Creatives, a project financed by The EU Regional Development Fund and The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.

Frederiksgade 1 is a new design destination for young Danish design brands. Here you will find PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED A/S, which is, as we speak, developing their own design collection. With great respect for the Danish design tradition, they have created a distinctive universe where experimental colors and tight, geometric shapes create a unique expression. PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED has the pleasure of showing their own collection; The designs includes an advanced LED lamp, functional nesting tables, iconic pin boards as well as a Japanese inspired tray table.

 


 

File Under Pop

File under pop proudly presents the works of ADORNO member A Hint Of Neon – Kristine Engelbrecht and Mathias Malling Mortensen. Both artists use the File Under Pop Paint Collection to create spatial installations.

The company directed by Josephine Akvama Hoffmeyer transforms rooms by clothing the surfaces with tiles, wallpaper and exclusive paint. All products are processed entirely by hand, combining antique craftsmanship with modern technology, resulting in characteristic and unique surfaces and finishes. Texture and colors are the keywords of File Under Pop. The company has a poetic and musical approach to the creation of spaces.
