Here is a vase that belongs—not without ambivalence—in a world of jewelry, crafts, and design.
It was conceived and prototyped during lockdown (during Covid-19), a period described as an “in-between.” This name also evokes the dialogue that exists between the designer and the craftsmanship of the artisan. A vase between two worlds, shall we say?
This small object is designed and crafted like a piece of jewelry. As precious for its form as for its manufacturing process, each engraving is delicately applied by hand. Raw, rough, and natural, this unique piece offers everyone the opportunity to treat themselves to an exceptional item, where every detail counts.
This vase was designed by Pirouette, in collaboration with glass artisan Timothée Véron. The overall shape is hot-blown in a wooden mold. The vase is then cold-engraved. There are six unique pieces in different colors. It is handmade.
