This flower pot was created during an immersion at the Sénégas Gérard company in Sidobre (southern France) during a residency organized by the Collectif Zigzag.

With each new production, the first faces of the granite blocks are cut and discarded as “unusable.” The name of this collection personifies these multiple resources that patiently await use. These creations are made entirely from production scraps in order to reveal them, while highlighting the craftsman’s skill.
A testament to true ancestral know-how and a tribute to a raw and natural material that is often overlooked, “Les Endormis” showcase this visual balance. In the form of flower pots, food displays, or mirrors, they highlight the durability of stone, in contrast to what they hold or reflect: ephemeral, living, and essential resources.
