A ‘hex side table’ framing a stone core that appears out of place — serving no functional purpose, inverted, yet resonant with memory. Within this otherwise ubiquitous assembly, the suspended stone carries history, origin, character, form, texture, and color, transforming the object’s purpose from table to vessel.
Part of Hecho en Recuerdo, a group exhibition exploring what Mexican design becomes when it’s shaped not by place, but by memory. Featuring artists and designers who bridge Mexico and the U.S., craft and concept, past and present.
