Blueprint of a Storm is one part of 4 pieces of a series for Impossible Currencies: Blue Blue Blue.
In this body of work, I have created hundreds of sculptural fragments, made of glass, layers of glaze and ceramic, and fuse them together, mounted on a glass and metal frame that stands on its own or can be attached to the wall.
I like to create wall works that aren’t flat paintings, rather pieces that lift off the wall, casting shadows, shifting with the light, and occupying real physical space. Blueprint of a Storm does exactly that. The ceramic forms rise outward, creating a three-dimensional terrain where the blues deepen, fracture, and glow through the fused glass.

There are three more from this series and I am also happy to create
more in other colorways.
