The Twin Chair by Tuğçe Geyik is inspired by Mid-Century Modern style and designed to blend functionality with minimalist aesthetics. The designer aimed to emphasise the power of pure form by focusing on simplicity and avoiding unnecessary ornamentation. The chair’s symmetry and asymmetry at the same time and its clean lines create a bold visual statement.

Made from solid natural oak, each piece is meticulously crafted to preserve the warmth and authentic texture of the material. A natural lacquer has been applied to preserve and enhance the timeless appeal of the wood. The metal connection details add a modern touch, emphasising the robustness of the structure.

Twin Chair is much more than a piece of furniture; it is a sculptural object that adds artistic value to any space. Twin Chair, which aims to combine the elegance of past aesthetics with a contemporary interpretation, has emerged as a timeless piece where every detail is carefully crafted.

She finds great joy in working across different mediums and aesthetics with an approach that is united by the same principles such as furniture and lighting design, interior design, 3D architectural visualization, interior styling and creative direction. She handles colors, textures and forms with a holistic approach, as if creating a composition from the parts of a collage, also blends her archive of materials and techniques of the past with forms from the future to create contemporary objects that bring awareness to inanimate beings.
