Description

Each vase by Tamara Abrar is unique and elaborately handcrafted in a traditional Czech glass workshop.
Precious Bohemian glass is blown into molds made of metal grids whereby each grid can only be used once. This version uses an aluminum grid mold and comes in 5 colors.
The uniqueness of each vase is evident in the shape and pattern as well as the color.
One of these vases is part of the permanent exhibition at the Museum beim Markt in Karlsruhe, Germany.

With their timeless and classic elegance, Tamara Abrar’s vases fit in any modern interior.
She supervises the production of each of the handmade unique pieces in the manufactory in the Czech Republic.
The vases combine history with contemporary design.
Despite their unobtrusiveness, they catch the eye in any room.

She had the privilege of learning from respected designers such as Werner Aisslinger and Stefan Dietz, significantly influencing her creative development. In her work, she offers uncomplicated solutions for the highest demands. Her design approach is characterized by timeless minimalism, which deliberately avoids frills and at the same time embodies an expressive aesthetic.  Today Tamara Abrar lives and works in Berlin.
