Description

Dining table MUSHROOM-FS embodies minimalist living philosophy, welcoming culture and personality. Every table detail follows the principle of linear clarity. The perfect oak grain, the conical base and the floating light top with elegant Swiss edge. MUSHROOM-FS is the centre of life, attracting people like a hug. The beautiful, puristic centrepiece offers space for 4 and blends harmoniously into any interior. MUSHROOM-FS is available in two colours, NATURE and BLACK, limited to 8 pieces worldwide.
Traditional cooperage skills give the idea for MUSHROOM-FS. The grounded cone and the floating top with a span of 120 cm and an edge that tapers to 25 mm are an exciting contrast. 18 knotless staves are individually manufactured in barrel construction and then elaborately turned by hand to form the round cone. The oak table is finally sanded and oiled. Its top rests in the shadow gap on the cone. Weights within the cone ensure stability and steadiness. Top and cone are reversibly screwed together. The MUSHROOM-FS dining table is also available as MUSHROOM-PS side table.

About Heilig Objects Visit Showroom →

Daniel Heilig, born in Budapest in 1985, is a self-taught artist, photographer, musician and designer with a current studio workshop in Darmstadt, Germany. The visionary free spirit's way of thinking, creative urge and creative power are unlimited. Design is in him. Everything inspires him. The beauty of the moment, iconographic characters and architecture, coincidence. Everything fertilizes each other. Daniel Heilig is not interested in what design is allowed to do. He believes in good design. It fills living spaces with aesthetics, atmosphere and a unique story. It is an expression of individuality and created for generations. The young non-conformist misses these qualities in German furniture design. He fills this vacuum with an authentic design language and touchingly warm, elegant and harmonious designs, unique pieces of furniture and collectible design pieces between design and art.
