a bifurcating vase – digitally born, laser-cut, hand-hammered
AlvazOre vase, a stunning work of art that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. Digitally designed by Nilüfer Kozikoglu and handcrafted by a skilled copper artisan in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar. Alvazore is a true testament to the beauty and artisanship of Anatolian culture.
AlvazOre is hammered to form out of two sheets of copper. Copper is softened with heat and expanded by stretch hammering and stiffened again by hammer. This vase is initially code modelled and patterned and then handcrafted & engraved. Designed by Nilüfer Kozikoğlu, sculpted out of the idea of expansion, the organic reach for light and energy.
AlvazOre is made from high-quality copper, features a unique design with two branches, reminiscent of a tulip vase. The intricate hand-hammered details add depth and texture to the smooth copper surface, making this piece a truly eye-catching addition to reception areas, lounges, and hallways.
AlvazOre vase is more than just a beautiful decorative piece – it’s also a piece of history. The artisanal techniques used to create this vase have been passed down through generations, making this piece a true legacy item.
