ARMILLA Chandelier by Scattered Disc Objects

Material: Brass striped pipes, aluminum, LED spotlight, steel cables.

ARMILLA invites to a relationship with light. The tubes, like Doric columns, call for a movement around the object, in a mutual exchange between points of view and reflected rays.
We have designed an alphabet of details to bring light through the openings, simply handcrafted.
Cut with laser technologies for maximum precision, assembled and finished by hand, each lamp combines artisanal and Industrial processes to allow great flexibility of configurations and finishes, solutions suitable for living rooms, walls, ceilings, tables, stairwells, bedrooms.
It is possible to customize the number of lights and rods, to create larger compositions or for specific lighting needs, using small mirrors to divert the otherwise straight path of the light.

ARMILLA is a catalyst of glances, a luminous divertissement. The light is soft and warm, for reading a book or having dinner with someone. The barrels are made of brass, striped, graceful.

ARMILLA is a project by Scattered Disc Objects studio. Every piece is designed and produced in Italy.

SCATTER.D STUDIO is Bahar Pourmoghadam and Marco Cattivelli. The studio, founded in 2020, deals with product design and architecture: we work in between industrial design and craftmanship, with great interest in present and past manufacturing processes. For us, artisan production is the embrace of a process and the acknowledgment of its value: the sense of a manual approach is narrative as the result contains further levels of meaning, personal and contingent. We experience through fabrication: it's our way of understanding the interactions between people and things, and understanding their meaning. We are very attracted by contaminations between different fields and knowledges, by stolen or forgotten techniques. We believe in insecurity and doubt, in multiple readings of a phenomenon, in temporary conclusions: every project is an exercise, both intellectual and practical. SDOBJS deals with concept development, technological research, product design, art direction, technical support for artisans and companies and small-scale architecture. We're currently based in Piacenza, in front of a splendid garden, with one foot in Milan and one in Tehran, where we collaborate with various companies
