About eguiarte & eguiarte Visit Showroom →

The Eguiarte’s Laboratory was born in 2018, while Miguel Eguiarte was studying Industrial Design at the Universidad Del Valle de México in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Miguel shows his design conception and the industry practices through the union between radical design and his roots in contemporary Mexico creating pieces like ceramics, furniture and everyday products made by different materials. He finds the archeological legacy of Mexico and it’s dormant relationship to modernity, such as the architecture, local manufacturing, and spiritual perception of these elements, fascinating His radical design describes this language in every piece: the abstraction, the color, the form, the material and the visual perception of an inhabited space giving us utilitarian and decorative alternatives for the people. Currently their work is divided in two catalog sections: "Cotidianos" and "Mobiliario para una nueva década" where we can find pieces like Pelota (ceramic jug) and the side table made of steel, glass and aluminium.
