About Sofi van Saltbommel Visit Showroom →

Born in 1973, sofi van Saltbommel studied sculpture and ceramics at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels and the Ixelles School of Arts, where she studied with Belgian ceramist Thérèse Lebrun. A multiple artist, she does not confine herself to ceramics in her work. It collects various materials and objects such as fake fur, textiles, porcelain figurines or plastic dolls to give life to hybrid forms from the marriage of earth and textiles.
