Inspired by the Athena Sanctuary in Delphi, the Last Mirror by Vincent Decat embodies the spirit of its final remnants. This sculptural mirror symbolises resilience and timeless strength. Crafted from hand-cut wood and stainless steel, its design reflects the precise shapes of Delphi’s stones with subtle curved and jagged edges, paying homage to the past while embracing sustainability. The mirror is part of the Ruins of Delphi series, consisting of sculptural furniture pieces reimagining ancient Greece through a contemporary lens. Defined by an unfinished, deconstructed aesthetic, the collection features a chair, bench, and mirror rendered in striking cobalt blue.

Vincent Decat is a Paris-based artist and designer. Graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, he creates collectible design pieces that integrate sculptural thinking into everyday use.
