CELL TABLES is part of a series of pieces that Marco Calhau has created around the exploration and investigation of the idea of how people interrelate. How people are capable of functioning as individuals, but we have always worked as a collective, evolving our species creating societies and evolutionary groups based on the individual concept. A project that mixes and integrates timber wood and enameled ceramics, two noble materials with opposite characteristics, creating a direct relationship with its inspiration, people. Both materials come into contact through organic and celluloid forms that evoke the behavior of people when they interact.
