The Anicca Vanitas Censer is made from sheet metal brass. The brass pieces are hand-polished from the outside to a mirror-like finish, while the inside is patinated to create a dark brass texture. The censer will be delivered with two chains to hang it from the ceiling or a hook and to detach it. It should be used to purify the air of an environment together with scented resins or herbs. The interplay between the polished brass and the patinated inner surface reflects the tension between permanence and impermanence – a central theme of the Anicca Vanitas Collection.
