ANC-66 is a masterpiece of minimalism that stands out through sensual materiality, contemplative clarity and consistent circular geometry. Light and shadow constantly re-stage the exquisite architectural table sculpture. One wants to embrace the perfectly shaped body of slender ash wood rods, to feel the meditative stillness of the tabletop with one’s hands. ANC-66 is an elegant and versatile companion for life, as a side table, lounge furniture, coffee table, seating sculpture or presentation column. ANC-66 is available in natural ash with a light concrete top or black ash with a wood veneer top.
The aesthetic harmony and precise rhythm of the columned gallery of the iconic circular architecture of Tholos at Delphi inspired ANC-66. Its table body, enclosed all around by 66 planed semi-circular rods, is manufactured in handcrafted processes and finally colourlessly oiled or stained black. For the tabletop, the finest manufactured concrete is cast, sanded And colourlessly wax-sealed. The black tabletop is made of stained, clear lacquered ash veneer. A 4 mm fine shadow gap gives ANC-66 a floating lightness.
