Description

The New Simplicity is the design principle of the striking furniture sculpture between design and art, ARC-F4. Everything about this side table is surprising. Its radically minimalist and at the same time balanced elegant form. The playful energy of its luminous colours and the powerful nature of its spruce grain. Four symmetrical arches that break through the strict geometry of the body. Its unlimited options for use, from coffee table, spare stool, variable storage, presentation surface to modular bench. ARC-F4 is a companion for life that you always want to have around you.
The monumental proportions of Roman representative architecture provide the idea for ARC-F4. The only building material is the solid construction timber made of Nordic spruce, which is tried and tested in classical wooden buildings. To prevent resin from leaking out of the wood, the 3 x 3 glued, 120 x 120 mm squared timbers are specially processed. The colour of the weighty side table is inspired by the characteristic yellow of industrial shuttering boards. Over time, spruce wood darkens in a warm, honey-yellow tone.

About Heilig Objects Visit Showroom →

Daniel Heilig, born in Budapest in 1985, is a self-taught artist, photographer, musician and designer with a current studio workshop in Darmstadt, Germany. The visionary free spirit's way of thinking, creative urge and creative power are unlimited. Design is in him. Everything inspires him. The beauty of the moment, iconographic characters and architecture, coincidence. Everything fertilizes each other. Daniel Heilig is not interested in what design is allowed to do. He believes in good design. It fills living spaces with aesthetics, atmosphere and a unique story. It is an expression of individuality and created for generations. The young non-conformist misses these qualities in German furniture design. He fills this vacuum with an authentic design language and touchingly warm, elegant and harmonious designs, unique pieces of furniture and collectible design pieces between design and art.
