“Brina” means frost and is a collection of vases which have been mouth blown and shaped free-hand by skilled glass masters on the island of Murano.

Using ceramics directly in the glassblowing phase opened up many possibilities in the creative process. This project utilizes the outcomes of the extensive research the designer has undertaken while developing his master’s thesis project for material research and technical knowledge.

The KUKKII (“Blossom”) floor sculpture composes of slender-stemmed wooden flowers, which variously grouped, capture the moment of calm and freedom sometimes experienced in nature.

Bror is a range of two hand-blown glass containers/vases that are based on the iconic potpourri vessels made by the Gjøvik Glass Factory in Norway in the 18th century. The shape of the vessel takes a potpourri scent as its starting point in this case the cinnamon.

The “MUDERNISM” collection celebrates prehistoric design icons glazed with materials extracted from modern wastewater treatment. All pieces are handmade at the designer’s studio in Amsterdam.

The Artefacts explore their creators’ thought of the time over our relationship to wood, objects, craft, and what we consider to be our civilization, searching to capture the genuine human ability to create beauty from humble, yet rich materials.

Intersecting candles are a family of three, two wicked candles, each consisting of two intersected shapes. The shapes are informed by Theodora Alfredsdottir’s previous mould studies and celebrate a merger of geometric shapes.

Jeanett Knipschildt felted the long ‘arms’ of “OCTOPUS” from sustainable, 100% Merino wool and hung it around a recycled metal ring. Most wool parts, she dyed from natural wild plants from Denmark.

Boisen’s work is an investigation of the ceramic vessel – arguably the most common object crafted in clay throughout time. With her starting point, the classic shape of the vessel, Boisen has endeavored to explore dimensions and abstractions through a non-traditional technique, challenging the natural properties of clay.

The moon vase is inspired by the textures of the Moon. Its shape is as simple as a common vase but with its texture, it becomes a unique object for interiors. It is made with stoneware clay intended to be treasured.
