WALL NO.I, 2023 is a sculptural wall piece that doubles as a sconce cover.

It is an abstract sculpture that can effortlessly be converted into a lighting object by connecting a lighting cord to its inner structure, if desired.

With an intention to increase longevity and achieve a natural finish, Zeynep uses terracotta stoneware clay as medium. Each one-of-a-kind piece is carefully sculpted, crafted and finished by hand in Montreal using mixed techniques.

This item is one-of-a-kind and entirely sculpted by hand. Due to the nature of the medium and human touch, slight variations are expected.

She creates abstract and biomorphic sculptures, furniture and other functional objects - all sculpted by hand with an utmost attention to detail. Meanwhile, her functional pieces aim to showcase the beauty of everyday objects and foster a deeper connection between people and the objects that inhabit their daily lives.
