Description

“Together and Apart” is an international patent-pending, modular multipurpose furniture system for residential, hospitality, and workplace use. The blocks serve and challenge the imagination and physical needs of their users. Two wedges interlock at saw-toothed surfaces, allowing them to fit together at any of many levels. This allows the user to create furniture in a wide range of adjustable heights and shapes.

More than two wedges can be combined, making for a nearly limitless range of options for chairs, benches, booster seats for kids, side tables, laptop desks, coffee tables, lounges, nightstands, and more.

With their non-specified use, the blocks create tension and encourage interaction. The tension created can either be within a single individual’s interaction with the blocks as he or she decides how to combine them, or it can manifest itself between individuals adding blocks to the same grouping or separating blocks to create a personal (detached) furniture/sculpture arrangement.

The blocks are currently available on a made-to-order basis in solid white oak, ebonized ash wood, and cork.
Custom finishes and materials are available upon request.
