Description

These marble sculptures are inspired by the relationship between planets and their ring systems. They combine different types of marble to create balanced sculptures that question the heaviness of the material.

The pieces of the puzzle are water jet trimmed in order to create extremely precise objects with complementary and nestable lines. This specific sculpture, Stone Edge II, is made of Triana Yellow and Red Imperial marbles. The two pieces keep each other standing in a fragile balance.
