La Fleur Fanée by Vincent Decat is the first piece in a new series of objects: the Lueur series, set to launch in 2025. Including a lamp, a mirror, and a coffee table, this series explores different expressions of hope. The lamp was designed with the idea that we can develop an emotional attachment to objects. The stronger the bond, the more we tend to care for them, protect them, and keep them over time. Inspired by nature in motion, La Fleur Fanée captures the moment when a flower withers, a moment that reflects both decline and a sense of hope and resilience.

Vincent Decat is a Paris-based craft designer who graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven in 2023 and creates pieces that blend sculpture, design, and art. His design philosophy is centered around creating emotionally engaging pieces that last. He believes that the stronger our bond with an object, the more we care for it, protect it, and hold onto it.
