Echō is a sculptural, hollow vessel handcrafted from stoneware. Its organic form emerged through a meditative, geometry-led process during an artist residency at Nowheres Edge, a vast landscape near the US-Canada border in the Badlands, near Writing-on-Stone National Park. The exterior is raw speckle stoneware, while the interior is glazed in matte black, creating a subtle contrast and a space where sound and light converge.
The shape invites multiple interpretations — a teardrop, a seated figure — reflecting the intuitive gestures of its creation. Hold it close to your ear to hear how it resonates, a vessel for echoes and quiet reflection. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, celebrating perfection in the imperfect, materiality, and the understated poetry of form.
