I'm an artist and designer from Finland. I have degrees as an interior architect and furniture designer from South-Easter Finland University of Applied Sciences in 2017 and Master of Arts from Aalto University 2021. I'm working mostly with ceramic sculptures.I build my work using a very thin wall with traditional coiling technique, which is a slow and meditative process. For me, making art is about some inexplicable need to create and make by hand. I make my sculptures slowly, layer by layer, as if to resist the hectic pace of the modern world. It is an endless search for forms, a new sculpture always prompts the idea of ​​the next one and the one after that. The shape grows intuitively, but it needs to be balanced, just like everything else in life, we try to find a balance in the middle of all the variables and possibilities in our lives.
