Viter means “wind” in Ukrainian. A tribute to nature’s wild spirit – to freedom, movement, and vitality.
Its shape is organic and enveloping, shaped by movement rather than symmetry. The lines curve and fold like tall grass stirred by a gust, creating a seat that feels alive — intuitive to the body, calm to the mind.
This is a chair meant not only to sit in, but to sense. It holds the echo of open space and the stillness after motion. A grounded place where instinct and form meet.
In an era of mechanized precision, Zemna’s approach celebrates subtle imperfection and the humanity of the artisan’s hand. Soft asymmetries and hand-shaped contours give these pieces a soulfulness that machine-made furniture often lacks. Each object bears the quiet signatures of human touch, making it one-of-a-kind. ZEMNA is a Ukrainian studio of functional art. ZEMNA gives physical form to instinctive, sometimes surreal ideas, creating collections that are emotional and deeply human.
