Description

As a member of a collective called Les Vernaculaires, the shape of the uprights of this lamp stems from research into regional Savoyard vernacular furniture, as well as that of the Western Alps. This formal vocabulary has largely been abandoned in favor of industrial furniture from large retail chains. I seek to revalorize these forgotten and sidelined forms by reinterpreting them through a contemporary design language.
