Constructed with laser cut acrylic sheets and threaded aluminum spacers, TL-01 by Orlando Pippig, emulates the skeleton of a neo-industrial, high rise building.
Drawing inspiration from some of Mies Van Der Rohe’s beautifully simple architectural drawings, as well as the common sight of an urban, multi-layered building during its construction phase where the cast concrete floors and pillars are the only exposed elements.
The fully matte, sanded acrylic sheets emit a warm glow when lit, allowing the centrally positioned light source to extend all the way to the edges of the fixture.
