Description

These marble sculptures are inspired by the relationship between planets and their ring systems. They combine different types of marble to create balanced sculptures that question the heaviness of the material.

The pieces of the puzzle are water jet trimmed in order to create extremely precise objects with complementary and nestable lines. This specific sculpture, Stone Edge V, is made of Black Luna Agatha marble and grey marble. The pieces are not glued together which gives the possibility to remove the smaller piece and to rearrange the sculpture as desired.
