“Samiria” draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese Raku Chawan bowl, reimagined as a sculptural yet functional vessel. Its organic form honors the spirit of ritual and pause, while the surface is hand-carved with Valeria’s interpretation of kené—the intricate visual language of the Shipibo-Konibo people from the Peruvian Amazon. Kené patterns are not merely decorative; they are sacred geometries that represent paths of memory, healing, and connection.
