Paquimé rug portrays the archaeological zone plans of the area of Paquimé, Mexico; its bold border illustrates the stepped circulation found in architecture and represented in ceramics. The different adobe color shades within the rug’s interior symbolize the city’s constructive areas: the ceremonial buildings, Central Plaza, and housing units.

Through a dialogue between past and present, the Paquime Collection explores how a civilization’s cultural and historical legacy can be safeguarded through contemporary design. The pieces focus their fabrication on achieving impeccable details and quality. Each piece links to a different community of artisans, potters, weavers, and sculptors.
