“Organ” by Meagan Cignoli Studio combines plaster and ceramic to create a striking, biomorphic form mounted atop a layered base. The upper component resembles an abstracted organic shape reminiscent of an internal organ or a soft, undulating natural form, with subtle curves and depressions that suggest bodily structures. The tactile surface invites exploration, while its matte, natural finish reinforces a sense of rawness and vulnerability.

The base consists of distinct layers that evoke a dialogue between the human body and architectural or geological elements, with its title “Organ” hinting at the interconnectedness of the organic and the structural.

This sculpture can be accompanied by decor or it is welcome to stand alone.
