Lightening object remains a piece from a space but it’s only a found chunk of styrofoam on the beach by the Baltic Sea. It turned into a light shell of copper thanks to electroformed bath. Encrusted with natural minerals which shines the light from inside.
The project tells about appreciating the beauty of common materials and what has already been lost in our eyes. What was thrown out by the sea – unwanted human waste, we combined with a true treasure of the depths – minerals: crystal rock and green fluorite.
Each new object is unique made from a different chunk of styrofoam – may vary in shape.
