The GIRIA table lamp continues Evelina Kudabaitė’s exploration of materiality, identity, and the human–nature relationship at the heart of her design practice. Each lamp is a tactile reflection of the forest—its textures, rhythms, and quiet presence—translated into a functional, sculptural object.
The lamp is made from a bio-composite material developed by Kudabaitė herself, using bark waste sourced from local sawmills and natural leaf pigment powders and shellack. This material offers a raw, earthy texture that invites touch and curiosity. Its organic irregularities highlight the uniqueness of each piece and reflect the living processes behind its creation.
