Description

These vessels are part of an ongoing series called “Reliquary for the Deconsecrated”. Each form draws from the shape of a bodice, tight, protective, ornamental, and was created using blown hot glass, and glass powders to evoke the translucency and texture of the skin. This vessel is named after Empress Sisi, the once empress of Austria. Women whose identities were shaped through adornment, power, and constraint. Accessorized by Bond Hardware, blown glass made with the help of Sticky glass.
