The idea behind this piece was based on the transgression of the traditional way to produce glass in series, always inside of a mould when making shapes. The glass is blown on the top of the mould. This action allows repetition, however the craftsman’s gesture is identified in each piece in a unique form.
The raw material used is glass. It doesn’t contain quicksilver in its composition, it’s recyclable and uses an electric oven, without CO2 burning. The structure is handmade of brass and copper with a base of white grey Brazilian marble. The result is a unique piece where weight, lightness and transparency act together.
